A multinational automotive Group, present in 160 countries, approached ITX for advice on how to achieve uniformity across their Group in expatriate matters and how to help identify the real costs of their expatriate work force.
ITX took an in-depth look to the expatriate workforce, analyzed their packages, and got to understand the benefits they were entitled to and what they expected. As a result, a Mobility Guide was drafted based on ITX’s strong knowledge of labour regulations across the world. The Customer approved the solution that created a coherent employment policy across the Group, making it easier for them to manage their expatriate workforce whatever their nationality and the place they might be.
From there on, ITX was given the task of setting-up and managing a Global Employment Company (GECTM) on behalf of the customer which ITX then presented and explained to all the Group companies involved and/or concerned. A couple of months after the GECTM was created and ready to administer its expatriates, it took less than 12 months to “switch” 100% of the Group’s expatriates, which represented around 900 collaborators. To the expatriates who solicit the GECTM for all their current needs, they talk to dedicated personnel in the GECTM who are very responsive, highly qualified, and fully integrated within the customer’s Group.
